Our Story

founded with LOVE
Informed by a lifetime of training in the care of the human body and inspired by nurturing her own young family, Arezou Appel launched Zooies in 2013. A chiropractor, acupuncturist and herbologist by trade, her intimate knowledge of what helps and hurts our bodies led her to develop recipes for sweet treats whose ingredients are as good for the body as they are for the soul.

Each one of Zooies Goodies begins as a playful experiment in Arezou’s family kitchen using only the finest of ingredients that she finds good enough to feed her own family. Commercially-developed additives meant to preserve, maintain shelf life or ease production don’t have a place at her table and are never invited. Only the highest quality items are satisfactory for her family...and for you.
